La Sombra
We say, Swedish Pizzeria, when we don't say La Sombra. There are always a lot of people from the time they open at 1pm and as long as there are people eating - not infrequently until midnight. A typical Swedish pizzeria menu is served here. The owner is resident Swedish.
Very affordable and good food and there is a constant traffic of take-away pizzas out the door. A specialty we usually start our stays with is a Nissa salad. A large salad with iceberg lettuce, onion, corn, pizza ham, tomato, cucumber and an insanely good dressing. The salad is so big that it makes a good lunch for two.
So a Nissa salad, two plates and two glasses of rosé wine - then the holiday is on.
The restaurant is located on Avenida Justo Quesada, at the southern end of El Oasis
